Default Domain Digest

Digests are HTML messages containing the list of messages which have not been received due to being quarantined by our system. You can configure end users to receive such digests at a given schedule and optionally allow them to release or ask to release the messages from quarantine.

Admins manage all quarantine messages in the Messages tab. Digests are a parallel method to save operational work for the admins and allow users to control or visualize their own Inbound quarantine. Please note that End users can also be given access to this system, via a light functionality interface.

The default Message digest options for a domain are edited on this screen. The digest schedule and lookup method options will only show if digest configuration is set per domain.

Default Domain Digest

Send Individual Digest to each user: This option allows for the creation of the digest for a given Domain. Note that you can create exceptions to the digest settings for individual Single User Digest and User Lists Digest by then using the respective tabs.

Aggregated Digest to one Admin (limited to 100 quarantine messages): This option allows for the digest for a given Domain to be sent to only one Admin user, instead of individual digests to every end user. By selecting this option, you will need to define the ''Aggregated Digest Admin'' below.

No Digest per domain: This option defines no end user will be receiving any digest as the default configuration for the domain. Note that you can create exceptions to the digest settings for Individual Single User Digest and User Lists Digest by then using the respective tabs.

Digest Schedule

Send the message digest Daily, Weekly or in a Custom schedule (maximum of one per hour).

Release from digest

Allows you to enable or disable the release option from the digests, which enables end users to release messages without having an account on the system.

Enable: All quarantine messages can be released by the recipients.

Enable (except for Policy blocked and Infected messages): Messages can be released by the recipient, except if the message is blocked for policy reasons or infected.

Request to release (notification to admin): The recipient can click and send a notification to an admin to release such quarantine message.

Disabled: Messages cannot be released by the recipient (only viewed).

Digest messages

Show discarded: Messages that have been discarded are shown in the digest list.

Show Policy blocked and Infected messages: Messages that have been Policy blocked or Infected are shown in the digest list.

Disable whitelisting: Recipients will not be able to add the domain or email address to their own whitelist (related to the actions for each quarantine message in the digest).

Disable blacklisting: Recipients will not be able to add the domain or email address to their own blacklist (related to the actions for each quarantine message in the digest).

Support / digest / Request to Release contact

This is the email address to be used for contact in the Digest messages, as well as the email address of the Admin which will receive notifications on the option Request to release (notification to Admin) (see above).

You can choose either:

Domain Support contact: The support contact defined in the domain (at Domain settings)

Custom Email address: Another Email Address, which must be configured in the platform.

Aggregated Digest Admin

If the option Aggregated Digest to one Admin (limited to 100 quarantine messages) is defined above, this block will show up to add the Admin that will receive the Aggregated digest. Note that the Email Address must be configured on the Domain.
