Set up IMAP / POP3

MailVault requires the appropriate preparations to archive your POP3/IMAP email accounts.


1. Add mailboxes to archive

  1. In MailVault, navigate to Settings - Mail sources > Retrieve mail from.
  2. Click Add New and choose POP3 or. IMAP and click Create.
  3. Insert your provider login data. You find this if you search on Google for "IMAP or POP3 {name of your hosting provider} set up".
  4. Leave the option Delete from Server DEACTIVATED.
  5. Afterward click Test. If the test were successfully, click Select Folders and choose your folders.
  6. Save your settings by pressing Save.


The steps performed previously must be repeated for each mailbox.
