Enable 2 factor authentication

The two-factor authentication provides additional protection for the user login, as an additional code is required in addition to the password.

  1. Navigate to Core - Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
  2. Activate the checkbox Enable Google Authenticator.
  3. Choose under Reset 2FA for, if you want to activate 2FA for all users (All) or for specific users from the user list.
  4. Click Save after you have chosen an option.
  5. The user now needs the Google Authenticator app for their smartphone.
  6. During the next login, the initial setup for 2FA takes place.
