Enable 2 factor authentication
The two-factor authentication provides additional protection for the user login, as an additional code is required in addition to the password.
- Navigate to Core - Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
- Activate the checkbox Enable Google Authenticator.
- Choose under Reset 2FA for, if you want to activate 2FA for all users (All) or for specific users from the user list.
- Click Save after you have chosen an option.
- The user now needs the Google Authenticator app for their smartphone.
- During the next login, the initial setup for 2FA takes place.
